Get frenzied, rank higher

Woodsman, Arsonist and Demolitionist, the three Frenzy attack characters
  1. Add your site. It's free. You start at the bottom of the board.
  2. Pay to attack someone. The character you pick decides how many spots: 3, 8 or 20.
  3. They fall that many spots. Always. Nobody falls past last place, so we won't sell you an attack on whoever is already last — nothing would move.
  4. If they were above you, you climb that many spots too. You never climb past the spot they just left. So you close the gap on someone ahead of you, or land exactly where they were — never higher.
  5. If they were below you, you don't move. They still fall. Pure sabotage, and plenty of people buy it.

This is what an attack looks like

Nobody's been hit yet on this board. Here's the real animation, run against a fictional row — no payment, and it never touches the board or the feed.

Three examples, all with the Arsonist — 8 spots

  • You're #30 and you hit #4. They drop 8, to #12. You climb 8, to #22. You gained ground on them — you did not take their place.
  • You're #12 and you hit #4. They drop 8, to #12. You climb 8, to #4 — the exact spot they left.
  • You're #4 and you hit #1. They drop 8, to #9. You would climb 8, but #1 is as high as their old spot goes, so you land at #1. That is the only way to take the top: be close enough to reach it.

You attack as your own listing, so the board always shows who did it. Nothing about that is anonymous, and nothing about it is reversible.

Shields

You can buy shield charges for your own listing. A shield does not make you untouchable — it makes every hit hurt less. It absorbs at most three quarters of any single attack, so part of every attack always lands and you always fall at least one spot.

  • One charge is spent absorbing one point of damage. Charges never expire, and there is no cap on how many you can hold.
  • Distance matters. An attacker directly below you does their full damage. Every position of distance between you takes one point off it, down to a minimum of one — so a Demolitionist hit from 200 spots away costs you one charge and one spot, while the same hit from directly below you costs you fifteen charges and five spots.
  • When your last charge goes, the shield is gone: the next attack lands at full strength, with no distance falloff at all. Top it back up from your entry's own page.
  • Charges belong to the listing you bought them for. They can't be moved to another listing, and deleting your listing destroys any unspent charges on it.

Attacking a shielded listing is never a surprise: before you pay, the attack window shows you exactly how much their shield absorbs and how many spots they will actually fall.

Frenzy's operator has entries on this board, marked operator. They pay the same prices and take the same hits.

Attacks are irreversible, and so is the record of them: deleting your entry takes you off the board, but the attacks you bought and the attacks bought against you stay public. Entertainment, not an endorsement — every listing is user-submitted.
