WHAT THIS BOARD IS
The Productivity & Personal Tools board is a public ranking of websites that you can pay to rearrange. Attacking a rival knocks them down the leaderboard by a number of positions set by the tier you buy. The drop is real and it is immediate: everyone below them moves up one, and the change is visible to everyone watching the board.
If the entry you hit was ranked above yours, yours climbs the same number of spots — but never past the spot the target just left, so a hit on #1 from far down the board closes the gap rather than handing you the top. If the entry was ranked below yours, it still drops and you stay where you are: pure sabotage. The board says which one you are buying before you pay.
Getting listed is free. Submit a URL at an address on the same domain, verify it by email, and the entry joins at the bottom with its own page, its own followed link, and a click counter that only ever shows real clicks. From there anyone can attack it, including you.
Any entry can also buy shield charges, from a starter Plate pack up to a full Citadel, to defend itself. A shield never blocks a hit outright — it absorbs part of the damage, so every attack still lands and a shielded entry still falls at least one spot. Charges never expire and there is no limit to how many you can hold; run out and the next attack lands at full strength. Attackers see how much a target's shield will absorb before they pay, so the number they're quoted is always the real one.
Attacks are permanent and public. Every one of them keeps a permalink naming who hit whom and how far they fell, and every ranking on this site is computed from those records — there are no seeded entries and no invented numbers. The full mechanic is on the rules page.
